I Need Space.

I miss my old office.

I knew when moving to NYC a couple months ago that I would just not have the same amount of square feet as I did before, and well no surprise…no office. I’m that type of person that needs space, my own space. When I lived with my parents I was lucky enough to have a vast amount of space to call my own, decorate, furnish, etc… Here I’m bound to a room about 6ft X 9ft.

I’ve never before lived in such a small space and was beyond concerned. As much of a small area as it was I had to see it as an opportunity to really challenge the design of the space. To make it look bigger. Bringing my Queens size mattress and 4 foot long desk was NOT a good place to start.

So basically, I got a whole lot of shelfs for the room. Heres a pic of the current work area, to the left is my bed, to the right is my closet. For which a part of my desk is inside of.

…I’m just going to drink now.
